David C. Van Gorder

David C. Van Gorder, 73, of Nicholson, PA, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born in Binghamton, NY, to the late Richard L. and Beverly (McCrea) Van Gorder.

Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Deborah (Evans) Van Gorder, seven children, Robert (Amanda) Van Gorder, David R. Van Gorder, Susan (Dean Newhart) Van Gorder, Samantha (Andrew) Soblesky, Tiffany Van Gorder, Richard Van Gorder, David Van Gorder, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters, three brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister.

David loved his family and was a hard worker. He would help anyone he could. He enjoyed the outdoors, wood working, and was an avid hunter. David also enjoyed transporting Lackawanna Trail school students.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Kadlecik of Bridgewater Church officiating. Interment will be in the Brookside Cemetery in Franklin Forks, PA. Friends may call on the family an hour prior to the service.
