Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear about David. I remember going to Aunt Gerties and Uncle Al's house when I was a kid and David would be working on his Ford. A few years ago he came down for my mom's (Aunt Gloria) birthday party, which I know meant a lot to her. He took good care of his family, and will be missed.

I was deeply saddened to learn of David's passing. Please accept our sincerest condolences, Yvonne, Willie, Anastasia, and his sisters and brother in laws. We always cherished our time spent with David and Shari, and I vividly recall when Shari visited my parents home and met Daivid. Their bond and love for each other was truly inspiring. May the wonderful memories bring you comfort, peace and strength. Rest in peace, David, reunited with the love of your life.

so sorry to hear- always liked him, went to school 2 years before and enjoyed occassional hang out with him

Was a great friend growing up in Greenfield. Sure he will be missed by all!!

David James Wolczewski

June 28, 1951 ~ January 26, 2026

Age ~ 74

David James Wolczewski – Loving husband, dedicated father, and friend to so many- passed away on January 26th, 2026 at the age of 74 of Jennings, Wisconsin.

David grew up in Greenfield WI.  He met the love of his life while she was visiting her aunt.  Her aunt lived just down the road from him. This started a love story that they shared starting when they married on June 5th, 1971, and would last for 52 years until her death on March 19th 2023.

David and Shari lived in Big Bend, Wisconsin at the beginning of their married life for almost 30 years while raising their daughter Yvonne. They moved to Jenning to retire. He spent the remainder of his days enjoying being with Shari until she passed, spending time with his granddaughter, daughter, and son-in-law.  He enjoyed his home, the outdoors, and his friends and family.

Through the years, David loved working on cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed teaching his daughter all about cars, motorcycles, and the outdoors, which included hunting and fishing.  He loved to dance. Never said no to a great dance of “Rocky Top” and any polka. Some of my best memories are of dancing with my dad. He enjoyed taking care of his cats and being with family. He was always there when anyone needed help. He was a true kind soul who always wanted to help those in need.

David is survived by daughter Yvonne(William), granddaughter Anastasia, and sisters Anna(Peter), Donna(Bob), and Melody.  David was preceded in death by his wife Shari, parents Gertrude and Aloysius, “Ollie” and in-laws Raymond and Jean. David had many more loving family members and friends.

A private Memorial Service with immediate family will be held at a later date.
