Dawn Elizabeth Callicoat

Dawn Elizabeth Callicoat, age 66, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, in Lawrenceburg. Born on January 8, 1959, in Lexington, Ky, she is the daughter of Glenda Montgomery and the late Walter “Bob” Montgomery. 

Dawn moved to Lawrenceburg in 2014 and started attending Ninevah Christian Church where she was a member for 10 years. Dawn was a devout Christian and cared deeply about her faith. She worked in city hall at the Lawrenceburg Water department as a clerk. Before that she held positions at Toyota, Citibank, and Service Merchandise. Dawn had a creative side and loved to draw. Her family’s favorite piece of her art was a watercolor picture.

Along with her father, Dawn is preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Christopher.

Dawn is survived by her daughter, Amber Morehead; her mother, Glenda Montgomery, both of Lawrenceburg; her great grandson, Isaac Allen; two sisters, Robin Wilson (Todd) and Mary Beth; her Nephew Dakota Wilson and her life partner and best friend, Brian Holt.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Ninevah Christian Church with Terry Cooper officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service on Monday at Ninevah Christian Church. Burial will follow at Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, Kentucky.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Hensley, Robert Hensley, Brandon Hensley, Dylan Blanton, and Kenny Sears.
