RIP Mr. Wakefield, and condolences to the family. I appreciate the guidance and mentorship from you as a young man growing up on Ft. Lee. For those that don't know Mr. Wakefield was a kind and dear friend of the family and Co worker/Battle buddy Of my Mother who also passed in Feb of 2025 ( Ada G Brooks aka Ada G Love) They both worked at the VTC on Ft. Lee back in the early 90's. I'll never forget the funny phrase you used to say to me quite often " You know what I mean Vern! Rest up
