I can remember Royce's quiet demeanor. Throughout our years of school as classmate, he was a gentlemen even as a young boy. Our last conversation was at our 2025 CCHS Tailgate party and as always he was in his quiet, happy spirit. I know his family is going to miss him, but just remember God promises to give those who mourn a "crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." I've experienced loss and I know what God is able to do. Love you family.

Royce Peacock was a dear cousin. I have fond memories of our time playing together as children. After the passing of his mother, Royce and his siblings would come to Fort Valley and spend wonderful time in our home during the summers. Our mother, Mrs. Annie Doris Jackson Ross, was a first cousin to his mother. We were the same age, and I, along with my brothers and sisters, ate plenty of peaches and had loads of fun. My sincerest condolences to Ronnie, Chrissie, Kathy, and Tony, and Royce's children and other extended family. My prayers are with you in the loss of Royce.
