I'm sorry but, I have never met Debbie. Jon is my cousin and I'm sure he picked the most perfect woman for his life long love. My sincere sympathies to Debbie's family, know that she will live on in your wonderful memories.

I worked at FTB, and I remember Debbie. She had a beautiful personality and a winning smile. I'm so sorry for the families loss.

Im sorry to hear of Debbys passing. I remember when she came to TSCS, she was a firecracker! I told her I like your style she responded you do and said you keep it real and to the point and thats so important in the call center! She had an awesome laugh, whichbin turn made you laugh. May she Rest In Peace. My heartfelt sympathy to her much loved family.

Deborah's Obituary

On Tuesday, January 15, 2019, Deborah Christina (Stout) Brones, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away suddenly and entered eternal life at the age of 69.

Deb was born on July 31, 1949 in South Gate, CA. She received her sociology degree from Humboldt State University in 1972. On December 29, 1973, she married Jon Brones, and together they raised two sons, Josh and Nate, and one daughter, Katy. Deb had an accomplished career with the Franchise Tax Board in California before retiring and moving to Blanco, TX.

Deb loved surrounding herself with family, enjoyed traveling and cross-stitching, and was an avid reader. She was known for her very kind and compassionate spirit, her intellect, her infectious laugh, and her unrivaled cheesecake.

Deb was preceded in death by her mother, Nina Stout (nee Pembrook), and her niece, Emily Hubbard.  She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jon; their three children, Josh, Nate, and Katy; her grandchildren Jake, Luke, Haley, and Kyle Brones, Reagan Behrends and a grandson Behrends coming in May; and her sisters Tish Pendergast (husband Bob and daughters Sierra and Morgan) and Charrise Hubbard (husband Bill and son Sean).

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blanco, Texas with a reception to immediately follow. Donations in Deb’s honor may be sent to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
