Debbie was my best friend , I met her in the 6th grade and we went through JR high school together and were still friends in the end. I loved her like a sister. We will miss her. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Deborah Jean Hubbard, age 69 of Malvern, passed away at Aultman Health Foundation on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Deborah was born in Richmond, Virginia on August 30, 1955 to Charlene (Ballengee) and the late Donald Donahue. Deborah Jean Hubbard passed away, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and creativity. She dedicated her professional life to the beauty industry, working as a talented beautician who brought confidence and joy to those she served.Beyond her career, Deborah was a woman of many passions. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her love for reading transported her to different worlds, while her skilled hands crafted beautiful crochet pieces and sewing projects, showcasing her artistic flair. Deborah had a knack for canning and cooking, turning fresh ingredients into delightful meals that nourished body and soul.An adventurous spirit at heart, she enjoyed nature hikes, finding peace and inspiration in the great outdoors. She also cherished the thrill of attending yard sales and auctions, discovering hidden treasures and unique finds. Her diverse interests extended to shooting guns, where she honed her skills with precision and focus.Deborah is survived by her husband, Robert Hubbard of Malvern; three children: Suzan (William) Edgell of Belpre, Richard (Laura) Ross of Tuppers Plains, and John Ross of Parkersburg WV; four step-children: Brett (Kathy) Hubbard of Columbus, Jason (Karen) Hubbard of Norton, Jeremy Hubbard of Green, and Danielle (Landon) McNutt of Wilmot; grandchildren; Ashley (Skylar) , Aaron, Austin (Kylie), Megan, Ryan, Aric, Chance, Harleigh, and Hunter; two great-grandchildren: Lennon and Cameron; two sisters: Teresa Wolfe of Morganton NC and Donna (Bob) Gilbert of Belpre; and a brother-in-law, Gary Dion of North Carolina.In addition to her father, Deborah was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Dion.A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
