DEBRA's Obituary

Mrs. Debra Darnell Higgins, 57 of Vero Beach, died September 10, 2016 at her home in Vero Beach.

Debra was born in Vero Beach, Florida and has been a lifetime resident of Vero Beach. She attended Vero Beach High School. Debra worked as an inspector for M.A. Ford Manufacturing, Vero Beach for 20 years.

Survivors include sons, Shawn Christopher Higgins (Jennifer) of Vero Beach and Michael Higgins (Vicki) of Vero Beach; sisters, Sharon Warnik of Vero Beach and Nancy Brittain (David) of Brandon, FL; brothers, Steven Darnell (Lisa) of Vero Beach and Luther Darnell, Jr. of Brandon, FL; grandsons, Chance Higgins, Cooper Higgins, Drew Heiler, Brandon Heiler and Jacob Stevens all of Vero Beach; granddaughters, Cassidy Heiler and Mikayla Stevens both of Vero Beach.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Gertrude Darnell.

Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2016 at Treasure Coast Assembly of God, Vero Beach. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2016 at Treasure Coast Assembly of God with Rev. Robby Weatherholt officiating. A private interment will follow in Winter Beach Cemetery.
