Debra and family I am so sorry to learn of your dad's passing. It is never and easy task to let the ones we love go. I hope that you can find some peace and comfort in your memories and knowing that your dad is smiling down on you.

Delbert Bradley Humpston, 94, Henderson, died at 1:45 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2013, at his home.He attended Immanuel Baptist Temple. Delbert was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, having served in the 82nd Airborne Glider Division.He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Marguerite Humpston; and two brothers, Herbert Humpston and Gilbert Humpston.Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Betty Humpston; two daughters, Annette Moore and her fiancé, Mike Harris, and Debra Hays and her husband, Jere, both of Henderson; four grandchildren, Stacy Lynn Powell and her husband, Chris, James Bradley Gish and his wife, Christa, Daniel Louis Moore, and Jodi King Gish; four stepgrandchildren, Travis Hays and his wife, Breea, Charlotte Bugg and her husband, Jeremy, Cody Hays and his wife, Alexis, and Starr Hays; ten great-grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Powell, Sarah Michelle Powell, Haylie Lynn Givens, Seth Bryant Givens, Landon Bradley Gish, Bentley Travis Hays, Xavier Ryan Bugg, Chloe Mae Bugg, Addison Mae Hays, and Madolyn Jade Hays; one sister-in-law, Dyan Humpston; nieces and nephews.Services will be at noon Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Reverend Ken Gazaway will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery with full military rites performed by American Legion Worsham Post No 40.Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Immanuel Baptist Temple or St. Anthony's Hospice.Pallbearers will be Daniel Louis Moore, James Bradley Gish, Travis Hays, Cody Hays, Chris Powell, Mike Harris, Jere Hays, and Darrell Willett.
