Delroy T. Werner, Sr., 78, of Bangor, PA, passed away Wednesday, September 28th, at his residence. Delroy was born in Bangor, PA on December 28, 1937, a son of the late Willis E. and Edna F. (Butz) Werner.He was employed as a parts assembler at the former Bear Automotive in Bangor, PA, until retiring. Delroy is survived by a daughter, Michelle D. Wagner, wife of Rick; three sons Delroy T. Werner Jr., husband of Jodi, Michael Werner, husband of Pamela DeWar, and Tim Werner, husband of Gladys; 9 grandchildren Tony, Brittany, Brett, Brandon, Zachary, Kayla, Dylan, Corey, and Ryan. He was preceded in death by a brother Donald Werner.Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Delroy's life held from 1 - 4 PM on Saturday, October 8th at East Bangor Fire Co. Social Hall, 30 W. Central Ave., East Bangor, PA. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, Bangor, PA. Online condolences may be offered at gaffneyparsons.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Werner family, in care of the funeral home, 314 S. First Street, Bangor, PA 18013.
