I am so sorry for your loss of Denise. I use to be her hairdresser. My brother was her brother in law years ago. You all were such a close knit family, so I know this will be hard. I am sure her parents met her with open arms. RIP Denise❤

Ms. Denise, I want to thank you for all the wonderful times you allowed me at your house to play with Soreya when we were little girls. The sleepovers and parties were some of the best memories of my childhood. You were such an amazing person and I hope you rest easy and in peace. You will be missed

Springfield- Denise Schartner, 63, passed away on December 14, 2025. A daughter of the late Thomas W. and Delra M. (Lynch) Schartner, Denise was born on November 8, 1962 on the grounds of Dover Air Force Base, in Delaware. Her family later moved to Springfield, where she attended local schools and had worked for 27 years in medical records at Baystate Medical Center. Denise loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially making sure the holiday season was extra special for them. She also loved listening to music (Terry Pendergrass was her favorite) and vacation trips to Hampton Beach. Denise is survived by her daughter, Soreya Schartner, her three grandchildren, Paris, Kingston, and Karina, a niece, Marie Pecor and her children, Courtney, Ashley, Joshua, and Anthony, and her great-niece Freya Rose. In addition to her parents, Denise was also predeceased by her sister, Linda Allen, who passed away earlier this year, and her nephew, Jasen Doane. Funeral services for Denise will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee, MA, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Chicopee.
