Not sure what to say?

Saddened to hear of Dennis passing. He was one of the first people we met in NL even before we decided to move here. We enjoyed his hospitality and words of wisdom. Our community will miss him.

So sorry I missed this till now. I was on a committee with Dennis years ago and he was the perfect committee member. He didn't say a lot, but when he did, we all listened! Plus he let his guests smoke at the inn when it wasn't fashionable, so my parents stayed there and loved it. Hugs from us all Roberta!

We are sorry to hear of your Family's loss. Dennis was among us "Sports parents", always there to lend a hand to all the players and parents. It was always a pleasure to bump into him out and about in the community. He loved to watch Will play sports! May God be with you all in this time of sorrow. Ray, Carolyn, and Zac Kershaw

My family has been patrons of Dennis and the Inn for 35 straight years. Every Thanksgiving. I wouldn't have the memories of New London and NH without Dennis, Roberta, Helene and Will. He was a great man, a true original. There is something about a baked apple and a biscuit that will always bring my memory to Maple Hill Farm. Much love to the Aufrancs.

Roberta and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of loss. We remember Dennis from our occasional visits to the bed and breakfast for family celebrations. He always had a welcoming smile, made us feel right at home, and embraced us as one big family. These loving gestures reflected the kind of man Dennis truly was at heart. Happiness, service to others, and love for family were qualities he truly embraced. We are deeply saddened with his passing, but know...

Roberta and Family, our deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved husband. May our loving thoughts and prayers comfort you in this very difficult time. Dennis is truly a very special person and knows well the true meaning of hospitality. His smile and wit give comfort to tired and weary guest that comes to the inn. He will be greatly missed.

Roberta - I’m saddened to learn of Dennis’ passing. Only met him a couple of times, but it was enough for me to know that he was one of the good guys! My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Roberta and Family: We didn't get to know Dennis for that long, but we loved talking with him and waving to him on the porch every time we walked or drove by. He will be missed and our thoughts are with all of you as you deal with his passing and celebrate his life.
