Matt and family - I am so very sorry for the loss of your dad. While I have not seen him since we were children, I know he was an extraordinary person.

I knew Dennis from my first day at NASA. For all of my 33 years at NASA Langley, I watched him challenge and mentor many, many NASA Colleagues. He kept our Senior Staff grounded with a critical perspective of our heritage while exploring the future. I once told Dennis he was a National Treasure, he was shocked by the comment but he touched many lives across the World with his intellect. God broke the mold with Dennis, travel the heavens my friend!

It was a pleasure working with Dennis at NASA Langley. The world has lost a genius. Rest in peace and go soar the universe now. Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family.
