Dennis L. Decker, 66, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Harmony Care Center in Dubuque, Iowa.
Private services for Dennis will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at St. Francis Cemetery in Balltown, Iowa, with military honors afforded by the Epworth John White American Legion Post #650.
He was born May 16, 1959, in Iowa City, Iowa, son of Lloyd and Janice (Farni) Decker. He attended Senior High School in Dubuque, Iowa
He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
Dennis “the Lone Wolf” loved fishing and riding his Harley. He also loved his Golden retrievers, Peaches, Goldie and his German shepherd, Baby.
He is survived by his one son, Justin Otto of West Union, IA: two siblings, Debra (Bernie) Reiff of Farley, IA and Doris (Larry) Roeth of Dubuque, IA; a special friend, Pam Daughetee, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald Decker
