Dennis T. Smith, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away peacefully August 17, 2025, at the age of 66. He was preceded in death by his parents; John Wesley and Martha Ann Smith.
Born November 20, 1958, in Pontiac, Michigan, to John and Martha Smith. Dennis attended Pontiac schools and graduated from Northern High School in 1976. He was an avid athlete excelling in track and football. He went on to attend Western Michigan University, where in 1978, he joined the brotherhood of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. Later he graduated from Walsh College with his bachelor's degree in accounting.
He is survived by his daughter, Erica (Kevin) Percy; siblings, Cynthia Smith, John (Angelena Smith) Smith and Tiffany (Paul) Sherman; Grandchildren Kevin and Erin Percy; and numerous relatives and friends who will forever hold his memory close.
Memorial Service will be held at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan. Family hour will begin at 10:30am and the service will immediately start at 11:00am.
