His favorite activities while with me in school were doing work for the office and attending Mr Smith’s gym class. Im sorry I didn’t get to see him in the last few years. Derek came to the Hope Friendship Dances at Hope Lutheran in Cherryville. He always had a good time. We will miss him! Our deepest sympathy to family and friends.

I met Derek when I volunteered in the IU classroom at Springhouse during study halls. We're the same age and I really enjoyed getting to know Derek and see his smile. May Derek's memory be a blessing.
