Derrick, its difficult to believe you aren't among us. I've watched you grow from a confident smart kid into a brilliant, engaging, astute young man. You were fiercely loyal, kind, and protective of those you loved and befriended. I am honored to have had the opportunity of knowing you. You touched my life in many ways and I will always hold your memory dear. I am confident that you are in paradise through and with Christ Jesus our Savior and that we who hold this great hope dear will someday...
