Dester Cleo Jeffers, Jr.

Mr. Dester Cleo Jeffers, Jr., age 65 of Mason, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 8, 1951, he was the son of the late Dester Cleo Jeffers Sr. and Bonnie Phillips Jeffers. Dester was a member of Masonic Lodge #678. He attended the Cornerstone Church of God in Lebanon, Ohio.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Judith Bonert-Caliguri and husband Jack. He is survived by wife: Wanda Clark Jeffers; daughter: Kyla D. Barton and husband Karl of Mason, Ohio; son: Dester Cleo Jeffers III and wife Savannah Jeffers of Mason, OH; Grandchildren: Katrina Barton, Karissa Barton, Dester Jeffers IV, and Wyatt Jeffers; brothers and sister: Donald Jeffers and wife Louise, of Oneida, TN; Jean Carolyn Anderson and husband David of the Paint Rock community; Dennis Jeffers and wife Tina of Independence, KY; several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the Jeffers family on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 12 p.m. until time of Masonic Service at 2 p.m. with funeral service to follow in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Barnes officiating. Music will be provided by Alan and Diane Carson.Interment will be held in the Sexton Memorial Cemetery in the Paint Rock Community.
