D. R. Bushnell, Jr. was the kindest man around. When I moved to Johnson City in 1986, he and Geneva were some of the first people I met, rented a small office space from them for a business. Always friendly, caring and trying to sell me something, he was a character! Always smiling and helpful, even when things were tough. You will always be in my fondest memories. Sincere condolences to the Bushnell family.

Today we honor a pillar of Johnson City.He will be fondly remembered by very many.
