Dewey Ray Houston Sr. passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, in Blytheville, Arkansas at the age of 68. He was born on June 12, 1957, in Osceola, Arkansas to Eddie D. and Jennie Mae Knighten Houston. He is preceded in death by his parents. Dewey is survived by his wife Joyce Houston of Blytheville, Arkansas, two sons Marcus Houston of Osceola, Arkansas and Dewey Houston Jr. of Osceola, Arkansas, two daughters Whitney Houston of Blytheville, Arkansas and Nekelia Houston Love of Atlanta, Georgia, two brothers Charles Houston of Blytheville, Arkansas and John Houston of Texas, two sisters Louise Houston Pointer of Osceola, Arkansas and Sarah Houston Handy of Cordova, Tennessee, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 12:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2:00p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola, Arkansas. Repast will be held at Eastside Baptist Church 2103 US 61 Osceola, Arkansas 72370. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas.
