Dewitt Dingman, Jr.

At 78 years of age, Dewitt passed away on Saturday March 25th at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett after a brief illness.  He was born in Port Chester NY, the only child of Dewitt and Ida Dingman.  He grew up and attended school in Scarsdale NY.  Dewitt enlisted in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged in 1964.  He settled in New England and worked in local area as a professional taxi driver.  He was a dormitory resident at Chelsea Soldiers Home for several years before being admitted into the Quigley Nursing Home a few years ago. ARRANGEMENTS: Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at St. Michael the Archangel Chapel, 91 Crest Ave, Chelsea on Thursday March 30th at 11:00 A.M. Military Honors will immediately follow the Mass. His interment will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery Connery Ave, Bourne MA
