Diane was one sweet lady. My heartfelt condolences to Pam, Jim, Ashley and Phil.

Diane's Obituary

WATERTOWN, NY – Diane E. Davidian, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Samaritan Keep Home where she was a resident. 

Burial will be held privately by the family in Acacia Park Cemetery in North Tonawanda, NY. 

Born in Buffalo on March 9, 1934, Diane was the daughter of the late George and Eleanore (Schmidt) Beck. Upon graduation from high school, she attended the University of Buffalo, receiving a master’s degree in education. She went on to become an elementary teacher for various public schools in Buffalo. She was also a church organist, playing for various churches. It was her greatest passion.

Diane was a lifelong learner who enjoyed music, books, and gardening.

On August 1, 1959 she married Richard Brickel. Richard predeceased her on January 29, 1976. She later married Ares Davidian, who predeceased her.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and James Oxenford of Three Mile Bay, NY; her granddaughter, Ashley and husband Phil Popiwny of Carthage, NY; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Russell Castranova of Williamsville, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, George and Ronald Beck.
