Diane Gaston

Professor Gaston was the ultimate colleague and academic at the Western Campus of Cuyahoga Community College. She was quick to smile with her students and consistently maintained a joyful outlook as she taught. Her students were better for having experienced her educational talents. She was greatly missed when she retired, and her friends, colleagues, and family will deeply miss her.

Diane and I were colleagues and worked closely together training Sustained Dialogue for Cuyahoga Community College. I was very shocked and sadden to hear about her passing. She was great colleague and friend who checked on me during some personal health issues. That touched me and showed how caring she could be. Rest in peace Diane, and care, comfort and condolences to her family and friends.

Diane was a mentor and a great boss. She once stayed until 9:00p on a weeknight to help me learn Blackboard. She was dedicated and cared about those teaching classes.
