Peaceful Reflections

Words cannot express how sorry we were to hear of Diane’s passing. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers and we’re here for you now and always. She will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry for your family’s loss! I didn’t know Diane as well as some others, but she was a unique lady & very kind! Mandy & Tammy, my daughter, went to school & graduated together, so life around those two girls were our main connection. We had some great times teaching together in the underground. Will always cherish those memories.

Diane Walden was born on July 2, 1953, in Vinita, Oklahoma to James Thornton Butler and Dorothy May Thompson (McKinney). Diane passed away on August 18, 2025, in Oklahoma City.

Diane grew up in Depew and later settled in Blanchard, Oklahoma. She lived a life marked by strength, love, and resilience. Diane’s strength, warmth, and unwavering love will be forever remembered by those who knew her.
