Not sure what to say?

I just (4/15/2020) learned of Dino's passing. I had the privilege of working for Dino at Inland Steel, and he was the best boss - in knowledge, judgment, and temperament - of my entire career.
Dan Cornillie, Naples, Florida.

Met Dino when the volunteered with the Forest Service in Arizona. What a great guy & human being he was. God speed Dino.

My prayers go out to the Pirolo family. I just recently found out of his passing. Dino had volunteered his time and expertise to the Prescott National Forest with respect to the abandoned mines program. He had assisted with many closures of our abandoned/inactive mines before my arrival to Prescott in 2008. I consulted with him off and on for upcoming mine closure recommendations thereafter. Dino was a wealth of knowledge when it came to mines. I can attest that many Forest employees thought...

Joan, Don, Linda and Susan,

I just learned of Dino's passing from the obituary that appeared in the Manistique paper and wanted to pass on my deepest sympathies. Your husband and father was someone I had the greatest respect and fondness for and I truly appreciated all the experiences and time that I shared with him and the rest of you. Those experiences began with the time all of you lived in Manistique.....the canoe trips down the Indian River, winter fun days at Thunder Bowl...

So sorry to learn of Dino's passing. My sympathies go out to Joan and to their children. Dino, Joan and my folks attended high school at the same time and were great friends since those days. I still recall the day almost fifty years ago when Dino gently and with a kind smile taught me how to pronounce Bucyrus (as in Bucyrus-Erie). I have photos of the trip Dino, Joan and my folks took on an iron ore freighter back in the sixties. What a great time they had. What a fine gentleman he...

Mr. Pirolo was such a kind man, who was very tolerant of the invasions of the Main Street Gang into his basement, where we held plays with Oscar-worthy performances. My deepest sympathy to the entire Pirolo family. Gods blessings to all.

Dear Pirolos, I'm so sorry to learn of Mr. Pirolos passing. I have fond memories of sailing with he and Don on Indian Lake. My first time on a Hobie Cat. I also remember your family visiting us at our cottage on Gulliver Lake. Dino was very kind to me. You are all in my prayers.

Our deepest condolences to Joan and family. Dino was my best boss ever and most trusted mentor during our Inland Steel years. Also a dear friend, we enjoyed many fishing trips to the Boundary Waters and many boat outings on Minnesota and Ontario lakes. Dino and Joan's hospitality was much appreciated by a newcomer to the Iron Range from Michigan. In today's world there is a shortage of men like Dino who conduct themselves with the highest degree of ethics and integrity. May he rest in...

I went from kindergarten to 12th Grade with Sue, in Manistique. Remember you lived near the Currans and Carlsons by the old School craft Hospital. My parents lived on Oak Street, and my Dad may have been on the St. Francis School Board, when you lived there. My Dad is deceased, as he died in 2007. My Mom, is still living, she is 95, and still lives in the same house.

Anyway, prayers and thoughts to you nd your families during this time. God Bless
