Charisse, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved brother, Dirk. I´m sorry I didn´t get to speak to you Friday at the church. The eulogies were funny, and the mass was very beautiful. Dirk was a funny kid in grade school, and kept us laughing! I remember he could turn his eyelids inside out! I hope it eases your pain knowing he is at peace now with your wonderful mother in heaven.

Charisse I want you to know my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I know that your brother meant so much to so many, but had a special place in your heart. This life will never be the same, but God has a plan for you and will get you to a better place..one day at a time.

In the short time I got to know Dirk he was a very pleasant man.
He was always looking to help someone in need.

I’m so sad by this news. I remember when I was a student at Our Lady of Lourdes in 6th or 7th grade, Mrs. Chustz would hire me to watch Dirk and Charisse after school so she could go to meetings or just grade papers.
