So sorry for the loss of your Mother. She and your Dad were great people. Both will be missed by all who knew them. I especially enjoyed working with them preparing all great meals that they served. They were very proud of all of you and especially their grandchildren. They touched my life like few other people have. Rest in peace Dolly and Carl.

Dolly Karassik, a lifelong resident of Kingston and Wilkes-Barre, died Monday evening, June 12, 2017.Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Esther Katuna Roth and was a graduate of GAR High School and Wilkes-Barre Business College. Dolly was self employed as a caterer and was a member of Temple Israel; the Jewish Community Center and other civic and religious organizations.She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her beloved husband, Carl.Dolly is survived by her son, Bennett and his wife, Andrea, New York; daughter, Gail Mayers and her husband, Attorney Joseph Mayers, Dresher; son, Steven and his wife, Ella, Nuangola; grandchildren, Jesse, Andrew, Erika, Leah and Abigail Karassik, Aaron, Jenna and Louis Mayers; sister, Helene Marcus, Coconut Creek, FL and brother, Jerome Roth, Israel.Graveside funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at 1:00 pm in Holche Yosher Cemetery, South Main St. Hanover Twp., with Rabbi Dovid Kaplan officiating.
