It was a privilege and pleasure to ride Miss Dolly to church the past two years. We chatted about so many things on that short ride and shared personal stories that I will treasure.
Her love for her husband Frank was so strong and always brought a smile to my face when she shared her memories. Dolores's Obituary

Dolores L. “Dolly”Legas, 87

of Mount Pleasant (East Huntingdon Township) passed away at 5:20 PM Saturday, February 28, 2026 in Amber House, Mount Pleasant. Dolly was born on December 24, 1938 in Mount Pleasant, a daughter of the late Roy B. Myers Jr. and Ruth Naomi (Echard) Myers. She was married to Andrew “Frank” Legas, who passed away on November 6, 2013.

 

Dolly graduated from East Huntingdon High School, Class of 1956, worked for many years as a seamstress at Connellsville Sportswear, and was a longtime and faithful member of the 1st Assembly of God Church in Scottdale. 

 

Dolly will be sadly missed by her loving family; her three step-children, Cheryl Klobucar and husband Timothy, Tammy Murphy and husband Terry, and Roger Legas and wife Renee; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Mary Jane Myers of Greensburg. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roy C. Myers on July 17, 2025.

 

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING STREET, SCOTTDALE (www.fergusonfunerals.com). Family and friends will be received from 2-6 PM Wednesday in the funeral home. Additional viewing will be from 10-11 AM Thursday in the 1st Assembly of God Church, Scottdale followed by funeral services at 11 AM Thursday with Pastor Andrea Bello officiating. Graveside service and interment will be in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Bullskin Township. Love Lasts Forever!
