Dolores Monette, age 92 was born on October 11, 1933 in Jefferson, LA, departed this earthly home on Monday, October 13, 2025. She was a graduate of John H. Martyn High School (Shrewsbury High School) of Shrewsbury, LA. Dolores was a florist servicing Shrewsbury and Metro New Orleans areas. She was also a member of Christian Fellowship Church. Dolores was the loving mother of Mark K. Phillips (Jennifer). Beloved sister of Ellen Louise Phillips and Catherine Marshall. She was also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Phillips, Sr. and Mattie Lou Harris; and her siblings Yvonne Phillips Ruffin, Charles Phillips, Jr., Gail Hayes and Sidney Martin. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastor, officers and members of Christian Fellowship Church and Macedonia Church of God in Christ are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Macedonia Church of God in Christ, 3015 Johnny Jackson Jr. Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70126 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Private Burial.
