Glenda, Allen, Nick, and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. There has never been a better inspiration to me as a father and husband. Daily, I raise my sons based on values your dad has shown me. Everyone of us is blessed to have known and loved him. The legacy that he leaves behind with wisdom, love, and pride will always be an influence to me (like he has for so many others), my family, and the way I raise my sons. You really know a person's value by what the leave behind; Donnie...

DONALD L. ADMIRE, son of Vester and Lottie McClanahan Admire, was born March 25, 1955, in Lebanon, Missouri and departed this life May 10, 2012, at his home in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-seven years.Don, as he was known to family and friends, graduated from Lebanon High School in 1973. He made friends easily and enjoyed staying in contact with many of them through the years. On November 29, 1979, he was united in marriage with Glenda Jo Fohn and to this union was born two sons, both surviving. Prior to his passing, Don and Glenda had celebrated thirty-two wonderful years together. In the 1960's Don's family started A & B and Bird Moving & Storage. They helped many families through the years and Don stayed involved and active in the business as long as his health allowed.Don was a generous and loyal friend. There was nothing Don wouldn't do for his family and friends in their time of need. He respected his peers, and elders and felt it was his responsibility to take care of his family at all times. Don was a very involved father and regularly kept in touch with his sons. They lovingly admit he was always willing to give advice whether they asked for it or not. He was also constantly finding new ways to spoil his granddaughter, Audrey. He was an avid sports fan, especially baseball and football. He enjoyed watching college and national level sports, with his favorite teams being the Mizzou Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. However, his most treasured moments were those spent with his loving family. He is survived by his wife Glenda of the home; two sons, Vester Alan Admire of Columbia, MO, and Nicholas Glen Admire and his wife Kelly of Blue Springs, MO; two brothers, Paul Admire and his wife Donna of Lebanon, MO and Kenny Admire and his wife Barbie of Conway, MO; one sister, Valda Young and her husband Jerry of Lebanon, MO; one granddaughter, Audrey Admire; his mother and father-in-law, Glen and Joetta Fohn of Lebanon, MO; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Carla Fohn of Lebanon, MO; sister and brother-in-law, Leslie Wallace and Don of Marshfield, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.Don had an unmatched zest for life and loved his family and friends unconditionally. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him through the years will cherish every memory. He will be greatly missed.
