Chris was my high school classmate and good friend, I miss him. Lots of good memories and laughs along the way. Glad to have had some long conversations with him about faith and long-time friendships over the last couple of months. Rest in peace my friend, love you buddy.

Donald “Chris” Edwards, age 66, of Dover, Oklahoma, passed away on February 18, 2026. He was born on March 17, 1959, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Alvin “Wayne” and Belva Jo (Brown) Edwards. Chris will be remembered for his passion for hunting and love for OU football.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin “Wayne” and Belva Jo (Brown) Edwards of Kingfisher.
He is survived by his wife, Susan "Angel" of Muskogee; his brother, Eric Edwards and wife Teresa of Kingfisher; nephew Shae Edwards and wife Anna and their two boys, Oliver and Cooper of Kingfisher; and niece Kelsi Otey and husband Joe of Kingfisher.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oklahoma Wildlife Department.
