Not sure what to say?

Don was the model of how to conduct oneself as a Toastmaster. I was in his club for a long time. He was always dressed to the T's, always conducted himself like a gentleman, was reliable in his duties and always encouraged others to behave likewise. He also had a good sense of humor despite being so strict in his behavior. Everyone who knew him will remember him and miss him.

I’d send flowers, but it’s not my forte to research Ling Beach flower shops online. I was hoping to Name a price and make it so.

I first came to District 33 1973-1976. As Jerry West provided the NBA the paradigm/model for their logo, just so Don Ensch was the Model of Decorum and Behavior for Toastmasters. None who heard it will Ever forget his “Nuts to Notes” speech. If there’s a Toastmasters Hall of Fame, then he figures prominently therein: as greeter, moderator, disTinguished member, patron, advocate, ....

Don was a friend and mentor to me. His influence & teachings went well beyond Toastmasters. I will miss him and his wise counsel. I will certainly miss being inspected before a meeting to see if I was dressed "like a lady & befitting a governor". Rest in peace dear friend.

Don was a legend in Toastmasters, and for many years served as the "official voice" during annual conventions. An accomplished speaker and dapper gentleman, he shared his wit and wisdom with members far and near. We'll miss him!

An inspiration to many. Thank you, Don.

An inspiration to many. I will miss him.
