My heartfelt condolences to all of the Albert family. Don was definitely a "good one"! I worked in the Chemistry office for 13 years and always enjoyed sharing chats, stories and laughs with him. I am gratefully a recipient of one of his custom birdhouses which I loved when he gifted it to me and will always cherish it. He always got such a kick out my daughters when he'd see them at the department picnics and events and always made a point to chat with them. I am fortunate to have had...

Don Albert was one of the most generous people I ever met. Margaret and I were extremely fortunate to have Don and Sissy as neighbors right across the street for over 30 years. To Albert family,
sorry to hear of the passing of Donald F. Albert Jr.
Chris you shared so many wonderful stories with me of your Father over our 27 year. Dad was always building things, Recreating landscapes in his yard. Nice memories for me.

Reading all the wonderful memories shared by friends, neighbors, coworkers and schoolmates spoke volumes of Donald.

Don was a long time neighbor on Morris Hubbard Rd in Higganum . He was a great inspiration to us kids . He was a kind colleague to my wife at Wesleyan .

Such a kind man who made a point of doing those little things that just made you feel better when you were down. We missed him tremendously when he left Wesleyan and he will continue to be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.

Don was personable and calm. He was a pleasure to work with.
Incredibly creative. I am very sorry for your loss.

so sorry for your loss, spent many hours with Don just talking while at wesleyan. great person.
