Not sure what to say?

So many fun memories thanks to you, Uncle Don. You were everyones favorite uncle. Thank you for being in our lives. You are dearly loved and will be missed. Deb

I love you. You will always be my little brother. We will all miss you. From your loving sister Marge.

Going to miss you Uncle Don! Your sense of humor during family get togethers stood out. You were able to bring joy and laughter to a full room. One of my favorite of those memories is when you found the Poplars noise canceling, over the ear, work ear mufffs from the garage. You walked back in the house and the room lost it! Everyone rolling laughing. We all knew it was to combat the Petullo sister’s classic combined noise level. You will be missed. Our family is so special because of people...

Uncle Don had a gentleness that was very comforting. And when I was around him, he often had a little smile on his face and a playfulness in his eyes that brought me joy. I am holding him in my heart. And I am thinking all of you with love...Aunt Mary Ann, Laura, Donnie, Leslie and Aaron. Thank you for streaming the service today. It warmed my heart to see all of you celebrating Uncle Don in such a beautiful way. I am sending you love.

Don was a generous man who had an interesting life. He loved his wife and family, who cared for him with all their hearts. My wife, Michele and I, will always remember Don for his cookbook and his Chicago, Award Winning Cake, which has the "secret" ingredient of Flan. May he rest in peace.

Best Uncle Ever!! May God hold him and you all gently in the palm of His hand.

Ted Gatterdam’s family sends our deepest sympathies.

Dearest friends, it is with a very heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to you ALL. As the days and week pass, rest assured that he rests in God's eternal kingdom, enjoying His eternal light. Thoughts and prayers- Naomi

I loved when Uncle Don led prayer, some words that make me think of him are spätzle, humor, and kindness. I loved visiting their Williams Bay house to play horseshoes and visit with my cousins.
