Obituary

Donald's Obituary

Age 65, peacefully passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026 surrounded by his family. Don was born on June 16, 1960 in Port Vue, where he grew up before attending Penn State University for undergrad, a place that he remained proud of and connected to for the rest of his life.

Don lived a wonderful life surrounded by the family he treasured more than anything. He was the beloved husband of Lynn (Mannella); and the loving father of Amanda (William) Grandon and Chelsea (James Cowan) Geruschat. And almost nothing brought him more joy than being an adoring Pop Pop to Emi in recent years. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Donald and Marguerite Geruschat.

He will be deeply missed by his family, relatives, and many friends whose lives were better for knowing him.

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
