To Mr. Ramsey's Family,

Each day as I would go to dialysis Mr. Ramsey would ask, " how are you today?" Sometimes he called "Red". May God comfort his family.

My heartfelt condolences are with you all! Donnie was an amazing guy, one of the funniest in the family! I love you all and will continue to pray for comfort and healing!

Gloucester, Va. datelineDonald Grant Ramsey, Sr. 64, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023. He was born in Richmond, Virginia.   He retired from Dominion Energy Yorktown Power Station with over 35 years of service. He was a member of McKenny Hunt Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He was preceded in death by his parents Isaiah and Eugenia Ramsey, sister Mary Margaret Ramsey, brother Rudolph Wayne Ramsey and is survived by his wife of 41 years Carol Ann Ramsey, daughter Christie Hawkins(James), son Donald Ramsey, Jr.(Jennifer), grandchildren Logan and Lauren Ramsey, siblings William Ramsey(Sue), Douglas Ramsey(Cindy), Eugenia Elder(Richard), and his best friend Andrew Wallace(Patty).  Funeral services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Hospital. Andrews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
