Donald W. "Don" Stringer, 67, of Rawls Springs, died Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Forrest General Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 29, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Hattiesburg Chapel of Moore Funeral Home followed by interment in Highland Cemetery.Mr. Stringer was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Hattiesburg. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Big Star Grocery.He was preceded in death by his parents, Burlen and Corine Stringer and a sister, Judy Rogers.Mr. Stringer is survived by his wife, Janis Stringer of Rawls Springs; a brother, Wayne (Kathy) Stringer of Abilene, TX; four nephews, Kenneth (Lisa) Stringer of Spring Town, TX, Michael (Jennifer) Stringer of Abilene, TX, Chris (Katie) Stringer of Dallas, TX, Jeffrey Stringer of Abilene, TX; and brother-in-law, Shelton Rogers of Runnelstown.Visitation will be Sunday September 28, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Hattiesburg Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
