I am sorry for your loss. You and your family have my deepest sympathy.

Jeff and I knew Don and Shirley from Mountainview Moravian Church. Together, we served on Boards, laughed and joked while painting Church Sunday School Rooms, worked at Church dinners, talked before and after I babysat for Karen and Kevin, discussed careers in electrical engineering as my two sons chose to major in EE, and most recently, sat with him at Crossroads and at funerals for Church members. Don was such a dedicated faculty member at Lehigh. As a younger colleague, he was a person I looked to for advice about many things from curriculum to graduation ceremonies. My condolences to his family.

I knew Dr. Talhelm as a colleague of my dad’s at Lehigh University. Dr. Talhelm was a dignified, decent and kind man who looked out for his family. Memory Eternal. Sympathy and condolences to the family. We hope he is able to rest in peace.
