Donald "Scutter" Watkins, Sr., age 66, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, peacefully in his home. He was preceded in death by his parents; Ruby Mae Watkins and Gerald Watkins, Sr., grandparents; Edith & John Brown, siblings; Theresa Brown, Alvin J. Hardy, Edith Watkins, Cynthia Watkins, Andre Watkins and Theron Watkins.
Donald was a life long Pontiac resident, and was known for his sharp dressing, his skills on the basketball court & pool table, his love of music and spending time with his friends and family.
Donald leaves to cherish his memories, his son; Donald Watkins, Jr., his loving partner; Sedalia Austin, grandchildren; Ashanti Howard, Da'Kobeyon Watkins and Ashton Watkins, siblings; Terrance Watkins, Anetria Hardy, Tina Watkins, Gerald Watkins, Jr., and Gwen Watkins. Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Donald will lie in repose on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm - 4:00pm.
Celebration of life his Life will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church 69 S. Astor St. Pontiac, Michigan. Rev. Al Terrell, officiating. Family hour will begin at 11:30am and the service will immediately start at 12:00pm. Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
