Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with Don's entire family. I went to high school with Don and will always remember what a very nice person he was. He will be missed. Dianne Parks Stapleton

I was so sorry to hear about Don. My mother, Mary Ann Schaeffer, was Ben’s first cousin. My maternal grandfather was Edward B. (Rapley) Pauley. He was Edna’s brother. Because their father left home when he was a small boy, my grandfather was adopted out to the Pauley family. But he was reunited with his sisters when he grew up.

My folks, Jack and Mary Ann Schaeffer, passed away from COVID in 2021.

I remember meeting Ross and Edna and Ben and Leona several times and...

I only attended Northern Heights for my senior year, but I'm glad that I shared that year with Don. Don's quiet, friendly presence made others immediately like him. Although I did get to know him some more in college and after, I would have enjoyed knowing him better. It was wonderful to get to see him at our class reunion a few years ago. I am thinking of you and your children and grandchildren as you learn to live without him. Bless you.

Don was one of the softest spoken men I ever knew. Enjoyed our friendship many years. Stay strong, Beth - thinking about you!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Thinking of your family at this time.

Don was a such a wonderful person. His smile was so sweet and he was such a gentleman.
Don was so wonderful to my daughter Jennifer. She loved working with him.
Rest in Peace Don.
To Beth and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
