Donna Jean Brohard, 89, of Spencer, W.Va., passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at home.
She was born May 31, 1935, at Meadville, W.Va. the daughter of the Rev. John P. and Stella Marie Lucas Keiffer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin M. Brohard; great granddaughter, Layla Canfield; son-in-law, Lindsey Lyons; two brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include daughter, Carol Lyons of Mineral Wells, son, Marvin (Melinda) Brohard of Spencer, daughter, Sandra (Bill) Ellis also of Spencer; six grandchildren, Michael (Whittney) Brohard, Matt (Carly) Brohard, Kim Adams, Lisa Dornick, Chelsea (Jake) Canfield and Clint Ellis; 11 great grandchildren.
Donna was a retired cafeteria manager at Roane County High School and a member of the Roane County Association of Retired School Employees.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spencer and a 65 year member and Past Worthy Matron of the Cairo Chapter No. 39, Order of the Eastern Star, Cairo, W.Va.
She was also a fan of WVU Sports, Roane County High School Athletics and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 7 at the First Baptist Church of Spencer with Pastor Mark Wood officiating. An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be observed at 12:45 p.m. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Friday.
Burial will be in the Hartley Cemetery, Brohard, W.Va.
