Donna J. Cattane, 63, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Monday, June 30, 2025, at her home. She was born in
Barnesville on September 20, 1961, a daughter of the late Charles and Wilma J.Smith Major. She was a
graduate of Union Local High School and a Protestant by faith.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was her daughter, Barbara Garrett and her son, Jason
Cattane, and two brothers: James Major and Robert Major. Surviving are her daughter, Alicia Cattane; a brother,
John (Kenna) Major; four sisters: Elizabeth (John Hollingsworth, Sharon Bomboris, Linda (Don) Cameron and
Janice (Richard) Kovacs; four grandchildren: Samantha (Austin) Smith, Ashlei Ray, Vanessa Ray, and Valani Ray:
ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation and final disposition will be at the convenience of the family at a later time. Please
