Not sure what to say?

I worked with Donna after completing Osawatomie LMHT training. It was a long time ago - 1975. Decades have passed but I never forgot her. She definitely was an inspiration to me. Sorry to hear this news but very grateful our paths crossed.

Ms. Donna is one of the greatest gifts anyone could be given with her grace, a nod, wink or smile you knew you had her attention or rather she had your attention. I will be forever grateful for the privilege and honor from the Darner family for sharing their mother with myself and the world. I am a better person in this world and the world is a better world because of your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great grandmother. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful woman! ❤

SRho sorry Holly and Kendra

My prayers and condolences to Donna's family. I worked with Donna side by side with her in 1998. Later in my career, she gave me a second chance to work @ OSH in 2015 to present, at which time she was DON @ OSH. What a wonderful woman and Nurse to have been associated with. You will be missed by all.

This dear lady was truly one of a kind. I spent 10 years at OSH and it was an experience of a lifetime. I could go to her with any concern and she would help me to work it out in my own mind, which helped me grow in my critical thinking skills. Patients always came first. Period! The thing that sticks with me most is that the patients were on their life journey, but this was their journey and I was only a moment in time on their journey. I learned many life lessons, personal and...

Donna and I attended the Osawatomie First Baptist Church as children. Little did I know at the time that Donna would have such an impact on so many people in her lifetime. What a life of service. Our class of 1962 was blessed by that service as Donna was one of our classmates who worked to make the class of 1962 a very special class. A parent's death is always sad and disturbing but Donna left her family and extended family with a treasure of beautiful memories of love, service and...

I had the pleasure to serve Donna as a healthcare provider. Kendra, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart broke today when I got the call that Donna had passed. She really had a special place in my heart. I know she is at peace now and reunited with her love, which is such a blessing in itself. Please know I am thinking of her and praying for her soul and for your family's peace. I will honestly miss seeing her.

Holly,Kendra, Debbie so sorry for the loss of your dear mother. It is so hard to lose our mother’s. Please accept my sincere condolences and I pray that your memories will bring comfort and peace to your hearts. She will sorely be missed.

Donna was my Director of Nursing when I worked at Rainbow Mental Health Facility and also at Osawatomie State Hospital. She gave me my start in nursing supervision and taught me much about how to fill the role. Like she did with so many others, she touched my life in profound ways and helped shape me into the nurse I am today. She will never be forgotten. Prayers are being offered for peace and comfort for your family.
