Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

She was a wonderful friend and will be greatly missed. I first met her many years ago when she was director of a women's homeless shelter after earning a public policy degree. I was writing a script about the shelter. Our friendship lasted and I was better for knowing her.

Donna will be missed!

So sorry Ron about Donna, I did not know her well but everyone loved her. She will be missed cousinhope u take care & I love you & miss u. We will talk soon . Cousin Gerri❤

Donna was sweet, kind, genuine and upbeat. She approached me at our LHS 50-year class reunion and her delightful personality was unchanged, as if no time had passed. She will be dearly missed.

So sorry, Dan to you and your family for the loss of your mom.

Single Memorial Tree

Her daughter said it all so well. She made everyone she came in contact with feel special, she had an unmatched passion for her art, her family, her friends and her dog Rocky, and her laugh will make me smile when I think of it for the rest of my life. She was the most open-hearted, honest, sweet-natured woman on the planet, and I will miss her more than I can say.

Condolences to the family! Lord, please be with Donna on her final journey.

Obituary

Donna's Obituary

In Loving Memory of Donna LangheierLangheier, Donna (nee Schanche) of Wildwood, Missouri, was born February 19, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to Al and Mary Xene (nee Cattron) Schanche and entered into rest Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the age of 77 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alf and Mary (nee Cattron) Schanche, her sister, Rita Lockett and Sandra Spirk.  She is survived by her husband, Ronald Langheier; her children, James Brostron, Kara Brostron (Craig Bullerdick), Daniel Brostron, and her stepson Michael Langheier; her five (5) grandchildren, Daniel Brostron, Andralyn Brostron, Charlize Brostron, Jonas Brostron, and Grey Brostron; along with numerous other extended family and friends.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna, a loving wife, devoted mother, adoring grandmother, and beloved aunt. Donna was the heart of our family, the one who brought joy to our celebrations, comfort in times of need, and warmth to every room she entered.

Donna dedicated her life to caring for others. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends, and she never missed a chance to gather, laugh, and celebrate. Her laughter was infectious, her stories unforgettable, and her presence made every occasion brighter.

Creativity flowed naturally through Donna’s hands and heart. In her retirement, she found joy in gardening, crocheting, and transforming everyday objects into beautiful works of art. Whether it was a handmade piece of jewelry, a vibrant mosaic, or a lovingly crocheted scarf, every gift she gave was a reflection of her generous spirit and creative soul. These treasures, made with love, will be cherished always.

A St. Louis native, she graduated from Lindbergh High School before going on to live a life full of love, creativity, and connections. Donna’s friendships spanned decades and miles, from childhood to the cherished bonds she made while RVing in Texas. Whether crafting together or catching up over lunch, she nurtured these relationships with warmth and genuine care.

She touched countless lives with her kindness, humor, and radiant personality. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we are comforted by the love she gave so freely and the joy she brought into our lives. Donna will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered, not only for what she did, but for the way she made people feel: seen, loved, and uplifted.
