Not sure what to say?

Donna was an amazing person and friend who we met at Panera Bread. Every time I’d take my three sons in to enjoy a drink from the Sip club, she would stop and chat and see how each of us was doing. She was one of the most kind, genuine, and gentle people I have met in my life. She treated my family like we were her family, and I know she treated so many people she met that same way. An amazing woman through and through, she was loved greatly and will be missed dearly.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I send prayers to the family at this difficult time Donna was such a sweet person use to see her alot back in the bingo days. May your family find peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
May God bless you all.

I just want to give my condolences she will be missed greatly by family and friends

Donna was one of the most caring and genuine people I have ever known. I met her right out of high school when I started working at Panera in Groton. She fully embodied what it meant to be not only a leader, but also a mother figure outside of the home. She never let anyone go hungry on her shift—ever. We always called her “Momma Donna.”

My beautiful sister, you've raised all your children wonderfully, your a loving soul who touched so many people's lives with love, joy, friendship and caring. Your smile so bright and your hugs so warming. You will be missed here on earth but now in heaven in gods loving arm's. See you when it's my time for God's plan, love you my little sister.

Sorry for your loss, thoughts and prayers with you all

Donna's Obituary

Donna Mary Leblanc, 54, of Groton. Donna was born April 22, 1971, in Newport, Rhode Island to Arthur LeBlanc and Jean Raimon LeBlanc. Donna was 54 years young when she was called home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2026.

Donna worked for many years at Panera Bread forming relationships with coworkers and customers alike. She had warmth and kindness that drew people towards her.

She is leaving behind a legacy of love. A true “people whisperer”, she had a special gift for connecting with others and caring deeply for everyone around her. She loved the simple pleasures in life—family, friends, nature, animals, music, and especially her beloved cats. Her greatest joy was family, especially her children.

Donna is survived by her life partner, Jesse J. Brown; her children, Paul, Antione, Zigmont, Michael, Quentin, Jacob, Maxwell, and her beautiful daughter Kaitlyn; her father, Arthur J. LeBlanc; her siblings, Michael, Walter, and Cyndi; her cherished grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Jean LeBlanc, and her first daughter Olivia, whom she loved dearly.

The family will greet friends and all loved ones Thursday February 5, 2026 from 10:30am until 11:00am commencing with a Celebration of Life and Remembrance at the Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington Street in New London.
