Donna Jean Vanhook

Donna Jean Vanhook, age 70 of Somerset, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.  Donna was born on March 3, 1955 at Somerset, KY, the daughter of Mark Burton and Betty Richards Burton.  

Survivors include one son, Tim McCoy Pence, Jr. (Lori) of Bronston, KY; two daughters, Janice Austin (James) of Monticello, KY, and Nikki Burton of Somerset;  five sisters, Violet Rose (Johnny), Wanda Dunn (Kevin), Mary Dagley (Ronnie),  Tammy Loveless all of Somerset, and Edith Baker of Nicholasville, KY ; one brother, Dennis Bolin of Blountsville, IN; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren;  extended family members, neighbors and friends who are saddened by her passing.

In addition to her parents, Mark and Betty Burton, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Vanhook; her son, Rikki Burton; three daughters, Tracey Pence, Tina Parmley, and Mikki Burton; two brothers, Waide Burton and Johnny Burton; and three sisters, Lisa Roark, Bonna Burton and Doris Allen.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 12:00 at Somerset Cemetery with Bro. Steve Mullins officiating.
