Donnie L. Mozie passed away peacefully at his home on August 4, 2022. He was born on September 12, 1950 to the parents of Lillian B. Mozie and Obie Mozie, Sr. Donnie attended Charlottesville Public Schools and graduated. He then served as a proud member of the United States Navy. He liked watching religious programs, especially Tomorrow’s World and other shows. He also liked to watch Bob Ross paintings on TV and loved to plant flowers.
Donnie leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife Barbara. They were happily married for the last 25 years. Donnie is predeceased by a brother (Obie Jr. and sister Althea). He leaves behind a son Donnie Jr. of South Carolina. His brothers and sisters, Mary, Lillian, Marie, Lindsay, Matt, and Milton all of Charlottesville. A brother Norman Danny of Arizona and a sister Regina of New Jersey. He also leaves behind a host of other family and friends.Donnie was a true believer in Jesus Christ and will be truly missed.Read More
