As a long time resident of Newburgh I got to know Dorene from the many events she took care of in our village. She will be missed dearly.

Dorene was an incredible person. She devoted her life to public service. I admired her and she was my "go to member of council." After she directed the park dedication, she became my friend. I am amazed at her record of service in so many capacities. She has left a positive impact on the village, the Democratic Party, as well as the transplant & handicapped communities.
