Doris's Obituary

Jeneta Doris Hoepfner, 83, of Holliday, Texas passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 in Wichita Falls.

 Doris will be in state for viewing on Friday, November 17, 2023 during funeral home business hours. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Holliday Cemetery in Holliday, Texas with Pastor Chad Stubblefield, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Doris was born on March 24, 1940 in Bay City, Texas. The family moved to Oklahoma, where she met Richard Hoepfner and the couple married in 1958. Later, they moved to Texas, living in Graham, Wichita Falls, and settled in Holliday. Richard and Doris spent many years together before his passing in 2007.

Doris was a nurse’s aide for her family, a devoted Christian woman and homemaker. She loved the outdoors, camping, and her cats and dogs. Most of all playing cards and Nintendo with all her family members. Doris will truly be missed by many family and friends.

Along with her husband Richard, Doris was preceded in death by her parents; and nine siblings.

She is survived by her three sons, Rick Hoepfner, Mike Hoepfner and wife, Marie and David Hoepfner; step-daughter, Lydia Solegenberg; grandchildren, Daniel Hoepfner, Brian Hoepfner, Brittany Pepper and Jennifer Reyes and husband, Anthony; and five great-grandchildren, Brady Hoepfner, Tatum Hoepfner, Alexander Reyes, Tyler Hoepfner and Everleigh Hoepfner.
