Doris June Knupp

Doris was a lovely special lady! She always had these wonderful pearls if wisdom! She was a treasure! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Meeting Doris through the Saturday pool session at Marionjoy was a blessing. She was a lovely person who was so engaged in be-friending all of us (of many ages!) who met at the warm water therapy pool...and once that program ended, having breakfasts with the group until her move to Florida. Doris had a great sense of humor and was a wise soul. I feel very fortunate to have known her. Condolences to Patricia & Streett, Mat & Kyle & Jamie. She loved you all dearly.

Janet won the lottery with her in-laws. Doris was a friend and Mother figure to her. I always enjoyed spending time with her. She was a wonderful woman and I will miss her. My heart goes out to Mat, Jamie, and Kyle and other family members. Rest in peace Doris.

Doris was a beautiful woman inside and out. I had the privilege of meeting her and Joe when my sister Janet married Mat. All my sisters and I loved Doris and had a great time at get together in Illinois. She will be dearly missed. Rest in peace Doris and give Janet a big hug from me.

Although Aunt Doris and I didn’t visit often when we did we made the most of it. I called just a few weeks ago and before I knew it we had talked for 2 hours! ( Perks of being retired!). She was the last of the greatest generation in our family and truly was the greatest!!!
